The world is in the midst of a massive rollout of COVID-19 vaccines, but this important work is made difficult by misinformation. To support fact-checking efforts, the GNI is launching a $3 million COVID-19 Vaccine Counter-Misinformation Open Fund
Last year we also launched a bunch of new features highlighting fact checks to users -- in the COVID-19 Google News topic in the U.S., on Google News on mobile in Brazil and in Google Images globally. We also improved ranking for fact checks in the desktop Google News experience.
