I'd like to teach y'all a Southern phrase that will help you get off a phone/Zoom/Facetime call or you don't want to be on anymore but don't have an excuse to leave. Let me introduce you to the power of "Well, let me let you go"
The first time I heard this I was like, “Ah! Brilliant!” And it’s come in handy for years now.
The world is collectively grieving right now, and journalists are working tirelessly to keep the public informed.
This moment of vulnerability is deeply relatable and refreshing to see.
Thank you, @sarasidnerCNN.

If you want to know why COVID relief is tied up in Congress, one key reason is that Republicans are demanding legal immunity for corporations so they can expose their workers to COVID without repercussions.
Dems don’t want you to die for a check. That’s what we’re fighting over.
Americans could use a huge therapy session in which we discuss the topic of acceptance. It’s hard. It really, really sucks to take a hard honest look at ourselves. But, it’s necessary and absolutely vital to survival. On an individual basis and as a country.
A year ago today I testified in a public hearing about @realDonaldTrump’s attempted corruption & efforts to extort a foreign leader’s help to steal the 2020 election. During the past year—emboldened by a complicit @GOP— he has continued his corruption efforts. That is who he is.
